As a project manager, you will:
Your future tasks include:
- Take on full project responsibilities by continuously assessing the progress targeting given timeframe, budget and deliverables.
- Organize work, align resources and coordinate the project team and external collaborators, suppliers, partners.
- Define and monitor project KPIs and objectives together with Project Owners and Department Managers.
- Regularly report project status to internal stakeholders and external partners and customers.
- Identify potential risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Manage multi-firm consortia (typically up to 10 partners) collaborating in research projects both nationally and internationally.
- Maintain the projects overview managing interdependencies of several project responsibilities and coordinating multiple workstreams within each project.
- Oversee financial planning and control in line with the business objective of the unit.
- Manage and support resource planning and control.
- Support of the project acquisition and thereby being constantly involved in the future research topics to come.
Your profile:
- A Master's degree in Electronics, Physics, Electrical Engineering or Economics.
- A solid technical understanding of electronics is essential.
- At least 5 years' experience as a Project Leader in Power Electronics or similar fields is required.
- Familiarity with Economic topics (e.g. market analysis and business planning) is required.
- Certification in IPMA Level C or equivalent is desirable.
- A structured working approach and a proactive mindset with strong facilitation skills.
- The ability to quickly grasp complex project aspects and suggest improvements.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written); German is a plus.

This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for employees in non-university research (Research CA) in occupational group F (F1 salary = EUR 4.868, paid 14 times a year). Your actual salary depends on your experience and qualifications. We offer a salary starting with a minimum gross salary of EUR 72.000 (annual, based on an All-in contract).
